They barely knew much about eachother

They barely knew much about eachother;
None the other, but love
Didn’t hesitate to come into both their capture.

With the death-may-be crisis that bonded them,
They did cry, fear, quake,
They did share their life,
And smiled, and laughed.

They did kiss, they did fall in love,
They did look at eachother
And their hearts
Were strong not to bother,
They did shoulder one the other and one another,
They did carry their end
Giving them every second;
Care, less, time, may make full count
And they’d be swept by the winds
Come the next second.
